Reef Report is a mobile app published by the Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality (BECQ) and the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation (CUC). The app can be used across the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands to report on problems you see on your reef or on land, including:
Dumping trash on beaches
Other littering
Sediment discharge
Spills of toxic substances
Coral bleaching
Breaking and taking coral
Crown-of-thorns starfish outbreaks
Open sewage or sewer problems
Illegal use or sale of pesticides
Unexploded ordnance
Driving or parking on the beach
Vandalism or illegal burning
Unpermitted digging or construction
Constructing on wetlands, near the shoreline
Power, water, and sewer issues (CUC)
And more!
If you see any of the above, use the app to snap a photo of the problem, map your location, and tell CRM or CUC what you see.
We'll follow up with an inspection or send your report to the appropriate agency!

How to install Reef Report on your iOS device:
- Click on the Continue To App button on our website. This will redirect you to the App Store.
- Once the Reef Report is shown in the iTunes listing of your iOS device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the GET button to the right of the app to start downloading it.
- If you are not logged-in the iOS appstore app, you'll be prompted for your your Apple ID and/or password.
- After Reef Report is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
